CELLAR STEWARDS - Helping Clients "Drink Wine Better!"
New York and New Jersey based company, founded and created in 2009 as a way to assist individual collectors and enthusiasts enjoy their passion for wine better. Cellar Stewards specializes in cellar organization, management, appraisal, sourcing, education, themed tasting dinners, events and producer seminars. Clients are provided their own dedicated wine and cellar steward who will develop a palate profile as well as a personalized, online cellar account to help them better understand when to drink the best wines for their individual palate, budget and goals.

Christopher Deas
Chris has been extensively involved in the wine industry since 2003, carefully procuring and delivering more than $240 million in fine wine. In that time, Chris served as the Director of Acquisitions and Marketing at Zachys Fine Wine (NY) overseeing wine purchasing, marketing as well as providing education and collection services to collectors and enthusiasts throughout the country. In addition to Zachys, Chris has spent more than 15 years as the President and Vice President of Italian Wine Merchants (New York and Aspen); he focused on building the IWM brand by launching the IWM e-Letter, website, and wine club; handling all wine purchases and writing; developing IWM’s proprietary Cellar Management program; creating and presenting educational material to wine enthusiasts; and building key business partnerships and relationships (Morgan Stanley, AMEX Centurion, Timber Resorts, St. Regis, The Little Nell). In 2010 he launched IWM Cellars Aspen in the Little Nell, the first brick and mortar solely dedicated to collector services. Chris came to IWM from McCann-Erickson, where he served as an Account Manager and focused on Columbia/TriStar Pictures, and DNA Studio, where he served as Marketing Director. He has a BS from Villanova University in Marketing, Business Administration and carries various certificates in wine and design studies from the WSET and SVA. Chris resides in Glen Ridge, New Jersey with his wife and their daughter and continues his life’s mission of sharing his passion for wine, food, film and music with others.

Kimberly Zeller
Kimberly’s passion for wine and food started when she moved to New York City in 1996, for a career in fashion design. While working 15 years in fashion for various companies and designers; Ralph Lauren, Nautica, and The Gap; she met her husband and wine geek, Chris Deas and immediately caught the "Winebug." She has since been involved in tasting events, touring wineries and vineyards throughout California, France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal and has continuously searched for the perfect wine pairing. Her interest and ideas in cellar organization peaked when she began to assist friends, neighbors, enthusiasts and collectors organize their wines with on-line tracking software such as CellarTracker and Vinfolio. This motivated her to form Cellar Stewards as a way to assist collectors and enthusiasts enjoy their wines to the fullest. Understanding one’s palate, realizing how one wants their collection to grow, when best to drink it and where to locate a wine is all about drinking wine better! Clients have included Zachys, Morgan Stanley, Timber Resorts, AMEX, the Cake Boss and Joseph and Curtis Wine Cellars.
